Student Instructions for Submitting Senior Theses to the Claremont Colleges Digital Library (CCDL)

To have your senior thesis accessible in the Claremont Colleges Digital Library (CCDL) requires the following:

  1. Recommendation and submittal by your faculty advisor.
  2. Students must sign a copyright permission form giving The Libraries of The Claremont Colleges and the CCDL the non-exclusive rights to disseminate via the Web for educational, research and public service purposes. The form is available for printing at http://ccdl-theses.libraries.claremont.edu/Copyright_Permission_Form_for_Sr_Theses_CDL.doc
  3. Print the form, fill in the blanks and sign the form.
  4. Give the signed original to your faculty advisor who is then responsible for long-term archiving the permission.
  5. If the thesis is a text document, students should submit their thesis in PDF format to their faculty advisor.
  6. If the thesis is a video (in the case of Media Studies), students should submit their thesis in a .mov (dot mov) file to their faculty advisor.

Should you have questions, please contact your faculty advisor.

NOTE: Once the thesis has been deposited into the CCDL, we are not able to remove it from access as others may have bookmarked the URL or cited the work in other research.

Please use our contact page to send us your questions.
